Sometimes the projects are very big involving over 100 people and sometimes our work affects one adult who is responsible for one child - and this is the beginning of changing the world - this child's world.
Our Coalition is working on creating an impact in the community for kids to grow in a safety environment developing at their unique potential. Members and volunteer in our Coalition link, align and leverage with other organization to empower our work.OUR WORK

“Play is our brain’s favourite
way to learn”
“Our goals are tools that are useful for guiding day-to-day decisions and also for evaluating progress and changing approaches when moving forward”
We would like to share with you different types of our ongoing projects - all of them need involvement of somebody's time and effort. You might like some of them and join the team on the project as we need more people at our Table.
You could start changing one's child world...
And maybe that you need us - we are happy to join you on your trip with early childhood education - providing our resources, presence and connecting you with others.
This is Calgary Deep South Community playground map that shows all the playground connection paths and more. Please contact us, letting us know you would like to have access to the Resource Map. Tell us about the way you will be using it (whether it is for play time with your kids, for your dayhome, to share with others, etc...) This will help us to work with you better. We will also provide you with additional great early childhood resources.

“I am Ready” booklet was created by the Calgary Deep South Coalition members:
The booklet informs parents and caregivers about the crucial 5 areas of child development and lists the community assets available.
The booklet was a big success, it has since grown into other booklets: I am Three, I am Two and its Spanish versions were developed. This and the fact other Calgary coalitions are using the booklets within their communities, reinforced our work and pushed us again focus on the production of the map.DOWNLOAD BOOKLETS
